As the new employment rights bill continues to trundle its way through parliament, we use this week’s podcast to bring you the latest updates and changes to the bill, to keep you up to date with where things are. There are some interesting changes to look at and some new clarifications have also entered the frame.
Overall, not much has changed, but the changes that have been brought forward are important for you to know at this stage, because if we get all these changes in the final employment rights bill, your proposed new employment rights will represent the biggest shift in UK unfair dismissal rights in decades… and will definitely add to your job security in the workplace.
It's our view, that being able to understand your employment rights, the more your rights act as an early warning system, which you can use to spot bad treatment or illegal treatment that you may be suffering at work.
