#281: Dismissed Because You Are a Whistleblower? Here's How Your Boss Cannot Get Away With This!

This week we continue our mini-series on coercive dismissals by looking at ‘Whistleblowing Coercive Dismissals’.
Whistleblowing declarations are also known as protected disclosures, and are a protected employment right that you have, from day one of your employment, meaning that if you make a genuine whistleblowing declaration, you cannot be treated less favourably for doing so. By way of exploring this, we also look at three employment tribunal whistleblowing cases to assist you in clarifying your own issues, if you are facing similar circumstances at your workplace.
It's our view, that the more you are able to acquaint yourself with your employment rights in this area, the more your rights will act as an early warning system, which you can use to spot bad treatment or illegal treatment that you may be suffering at work.
