In this week’s podcast, we look at how you can challenge Your employer’s decision to dismiss you, if you believe you have been wrongly dismissed for sickness capability reasons. We also look at the extra protections in place, to protect you from unfair sickness capability dismissals, if your illness is linked to a condition you have, which may be classified as a disability under the Equality Act 2010.
It's our view, that the more you are able to acquaint yourself with your employment rights in this area, the more your rights will act as an early warning system, which you can use to spot bad treatment or illegal treatment that you may be suffering at work.
