#241: From 1st October 2024 Your Employer Must Ensure You Keep 100% of Your Tips. Here’s What Has Changed!

This week we bring you an update on a podcast episode we did in June 2023… which highlighted the changes that were coming into play about the tips you receive from customers. From the 1st October 2024, the new tipping regulations became employment law, and your employer must now make sure you keep 100% of your tips. We go through all the changes in this week’s episode.
It's our view, that the more you are able to acquaint yourself with your employment rights in this area, the more your rights will act as an early warning system, which you can use to spot bad treatment or illegal treatment that you may be suffering at work.
